Records Settings
Settings that control how the Records Tab behaves.

Display



Days to keep recent
The number of days to keep recent records in the records tab, maximum is 7 days. All records are added to the archive when they are added to current records, so all records can be found by searching the archive.
Auto change record view

After sales are marked printed or shipped, you can opt to change the view if there are no records in the current view, the options are:

Ask: Ask if the view should be changed

Always: Automatically change to the next view with records
Never: Don't change the view, even if the current view is empty

Dialog after print

After sales are printed, you have the option to mark printed or printed and shipped, the options are:
Ask: Ask which dialog to show after printing

Printed: Always show the mark printed dialog

Shipped: Always show the mark shipped dialog

Show billing address

Yes will show the billing and delivery address on the records tab

Compact record display
Yes will display records in a more compact form to show more records in the view
Highlight filtered text
Yes will highlight the text on records that has been used to filter records

Options



Enter selects filtered
Pressing enter in the records tab filter text box, will select all the records that are filtered
Print 6x4 customs invoice
Yes will print Packing Partner customs invoices in 6x4 format, No will print in A4
Complete when shipped
Yes will mark records completed when they are marked shipped. This should only be used with platforms that do not require sales to be marked despatched

Shipping dates



Excluded dates

Dates to exclude when calculating next working day. These are used when creating carrier labels and you want them to be booked in for the next working day

Box metrics



Use box matching

Box matching allows a predefined box to be chosen from product weights and dimensions in each record.

Box matching requires a Gold or Silver subscription.

Packing accuracy

Defines how accurately matching tries to choose the right box by testing different product positions in the box.

Faster: Only tries a few different combinations of positions.

Medium: Tries several positions to get a more accurate fit.

Better: Tries many positions to get the best box.

The best setting for your boxes should be decided by trial and error.

Define Boxes
Opens the Parcel Metrics dialog to define your boxes.

Stored metrics



Use stored Metrics
Allows you to define the metrics for each parcel, after you have packed and weight it. The metrics that are stored, will be applied to every other record that has the same combination of items and quantities. To define metrics for a record right click the record in the Records Tab and select Change Carrier Details>Parcel Metrics.
Match stored by SKU

Yes matches products by SKU

No matches items by title and variation

Ignore channel metrics
Yes will ignore product weights and dimensions supplied by your sales channel
Extract parcel metrics
Extracts parcel metrics from previous records. You should only do this if you have accurate parcel metrics defined in previous records.
