Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income

I see HMRC will be making MTD mandatory starting from April next year and I wondered if anyone is already doing this along with Packing Partner?

Thanks for the post Tony. Currently Packing Partner doesn't have any built in tools for submitting tax information to HMRC. It's something we may consider in future, by way of integration with Xero, Quickbooks etc.

It will only be mandatory from April 2026 if you earned over £50k in the 24-25 tax year
Then it drops to £30k in the 25-26 tax year when it becomes mandatory as from April 2027 and £20k in the 26-27 tax year mandatory from April 2028. 
For people earning less than £20k in a tax year it will not be compulsory - BUT there are plans to lower this value
